Refer a Client

Precision Mind Psychology accepts referrals from self-referring clients, GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, allied health professionals, educators, NDIS providers, support co'ordinators, insurers, and employers.

Referrals are welcomed for therapy, ADHD assessments, diagnostic assessments, psychological reports, treatment recommendations, and ongoing psychological support.

Referral Options

Referrals can be submitted using any of the following methods (listed in order of preference):

• HealthLink (preferred): Send referrals securely using EDI PREMINPS.
• Email: Send referrals or enquiries to admin@precisionmind.com.au.
• Referral Form: If you do not have your own referral template, complete our Referral Form (PDF) and email the completed form to admin@precisionmind.com.au.
• Online Booking: Clients may also book directly via Halaxy (referral not required for privately funded appointments).

Once a referral is received, we aim to contact the client within two business days to arrange an appointment.

What to Include

• Client name, date of birth, phone number, and email address where possible
• Reason for referral and presenting concerns
• Funding arrangements, such as MHCP, NDIS, WorkCover, private, or insurance
• Relevant medical, developmental, educational, or mental health history
• Previous reports, assessments, or relevant correspondence where available

NDIS Referrals

Precision Mind Psychology accepts referrals for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Support Coordinators are welcome to refer participants directly. Where possible, please include participant details, plan management details, primary goals for psychology support, relevant reports, and contact details for the participant or nominee.

Services may include individual psychological therapy, parent and family support, behavioural planning, diagnostic assessment, functional recommendations, and psychological reports related to participant goals.

For Clients

You are welcome to book directly. A referral is not required for private sessions.
